Sir Cliff Richard is set to return to Tyneside as part of this 50th years in music celebration tour, in November 2008.
Fans have already camped out to ensure they got the best seats at the Metro Radio Arena for his next trip to Tyneside on November 28th next year, with tickets priced at £50 and £45 now on sale.
The Time Machine tour celebrates his 50 years in the music industry and will feature all of Cliff’s favourite hits from the past five decades. Amazingly, if you add up the number of weeks Cliff has had a hit song in the charts, it totals a staggering 20 years. Cliffs next single When I Need You precedes his new album LOVE and will hopefully join the other hits of his careers so far which include Living Doll, Devil Woman, The Young Ones, Carrie and Some People to name but a few.
Ticket holders at the concert are promised a free souvenir DVD
