LazyTown Sails Into Salford
Shiver me timbers! the brand new show, LazyTown Live! – The Pirate Adventure docks in Salford next week.
The audience will be transported onto the high seas through a high-energy story full of parrots, pieces of eight and buried treasure. There will be star-jumps, power-moves, laugh out-loud fun, sing-along songs and dancing in the aisles.
Joining in the fun will be favourite LazyTown friends: Stephanie and Sportacus – and of course Robbie Rotten who, given half the chance, would have Sportacus walking the plank so laziness could rule in LazyTown.
The first LazyTown Live! show toured from October 2007 – August 2008, playing to audiences of just under 400,000 across 46 venues in the UK and Ireland. The UK was the first to have a touring version of the hit TV show (currently seen on BBC and Nick Jr.) and since then, other productions have been created internationally.
Conceived, written and directed by the hugely talented Icelander Magnús Scheving (who also plays Sportacus in the TV show), LazyTown is a life-style brand for young children. With its lessons about making healthy food choices and being physically active, the show aims to provide children with positive role models, while still being a lot of fun! The TV show received a Children’s BAFTA nomination in October 2008.
LazyTown Live! runs at the Lowry during the Easter holidays from 8- 12 April.

Actually, “LazyTown” is all but dead in the United States. It hasn’t aired on Nickelodeon in a while now and only a limited library of episodes is seen on Noggin.

Начальник пожарной охраны вразвалочку , руки в карманы, заходит в комнату, где обычно в ожидании вызова сидит бригада, и спокойно так говорит: – Мужики, давайте собирайтесь потихоньку, здание налоговой полиции горит,,,
