As soon as the Sound Of Music tour, it wasn’t long before Manchester was rumoured to be in the frame. After all, the Palace Theatre has hosted tours of The Producers, Miss Saigon and is currently hosting the huge success, Mary Poppins. It’s not announced yet, but if you click onto ticketmaster, the Manchester dates are waiting to go live.

Connie Fisher will be spending the Christmas period with Manchester audiences, as The Sound Of Music is set to open here in mid December, carrying on into 2010.
