The Octagon‘s award-winning productions of Roald Dahl’s work return with the beloved tale of Danny the Champion of the World. We have a family ticket up for grabs!

Following in the vein of previous success including James and The Giant Peach and The Twits, this looks set to be another winner at the Octagon this Christmas.

THE PLAY:
This new adaptation has all the classic elements of a Dahl favourite: overbearing adults, persecuted animals and the child who triumphs against the odds.

Danny the Champion of the World is a story of danger and daring, excitement and invention: Danny has the most marvellous father a boy could wish for. But one day Danny wakes up in the night to find his dad has disappeared. Danny knows his dad is keeping a secret, and demands to be told the truth. Together they hatch a cunning plan…..

We have one pair of tickets valid for any Mon-Thurs performance (subject to availability) from Monday 24th  November to Thursday 18th December at the Octagon. Please state which date and time you would prefer, with your answer. Check the listings here for times.

Please email your full name and answer with the heading ‘Danny’ Comp to glenn@whatsonstage.com by the closing date of Wednesday 19th November, 2008. Also, please state which performance (date and time) you would like to attend.

The winner will be notified by email on Thursday, 19th November, 2008.

Only one entry per household please (this includes email addresses) and please note that multiple entries will be deemed void. Also, please ensure that you are free to attend before entering.
