Win! Guava Jelly tix at the Opera House
This competition is now closed. Congrats to the winners, you have been emailed.
Guava Jelly, a bittersweet comedy about love and life comes to the Opera House, Manchester on Saturday 20th September. We have three pairs of tickets up for grabs!
THE SHOW:
Set in rural America, Ascot (Oliver Samuels) is an uneducated, crude but ambitious hardworking man, who travelled to the USA to be able to send back money to reform their hovel in to a home. While he is away his wife’s former husband, Blue (played by Volier Johnson) moved in. Blue is quite mad. He had always been a little strange but since his time in prison he had gone completely nuts.
Between them is Madge (played by Audrey Reid), she is taken for granted by both man and they both assume that she is “theirs”. It is not just the plot of the story keeps you watching Guava Jelly, it’s the laugh-out-loud-lines, the comedy of the situation and the comic delivery of the actors.
