All these baffling scientific mysteries will be solved, caravans will explode and microwaves will be blown up… It can only mean one thing: Sky One’s zany science programme Brainiac: Science Abuse is being staged live at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday 26th March.

THE PITCH
After five years and more than 60 programmes following the Brainiac boffins’ explosive voyage of scientific discovery, they’ve decided to take to the road and bring their madcap brand of experimentation to you.

Sky One’s multi award-winning Brainiac: Science Abuse arrives with an earth-shattering bang for the first time on stage and it’s more mischievous than ever - there are 22 daredevil experiments with lots and lots of messy audience participation and yes, a caravan will be blown up at every single performance!

You won’t believe your eyes - or ears - as Brainiac Joe escapes from Brainiac HQ to travel the length and breadth of the country mischievously exploring the mysteries of science. Brainiac Live is a breathless ride through the wild world of the weird and wonderful that will tackle spectacular experiments in a quest for knowledge.

Dr John Kilcoyne, the ‘Principal Lecturer from the University of Sunderland’ and known to viewers of the television series and one of the chief Brainiac boffins, is the live show’s Science Consultant and will make surprise guest appearances at some venues.
