Wedding Singer invites Wilkes and Casey to tour

Television star and friend of Robbie Williams, Jonathan Wilkes is to star with Natalie Casey in the UK tour of The Wedding Singer. Wilkes has previously appeared in UK tours of Guys and Dolls, Tommy, Grease and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Casey, has just finished performing in the West End in Fame and is well known from BBC2’s smash hit comedy Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
The show is based on the 1998 blockbuster movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, and comes direct from Broadway.
Wannabe rock star Robbie Hart is everyone’s favourite Wedding Singer. He’s the life and soul of the party until he gets jilted at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a waitress who wins his heart - only trouble is, Julia’s about to be married! Can Robbie pull off the performance of the decade and win the girl of his dreams?
Presenting the first ever UK National Tour and pre-West End production of this major new musical are the producers behind Footlose, Fame, Saturday Night Fever, and the current touring hit, Hot Flush.
The Wedding Singer is directed by Karen Bruce, current director of the hit show, Footloose.
The show opens at the Palace Theatre on 18th February until 1st March.
