Crazy Cast Join WOS Theatregoers for Post-Show Chat

Date: 14 October 2011

Last night (13 October 2011) 100 Whatsonstage.com theatregoers, drinks in hand, settled into their seats for an evening of classic Gershwin numbers, tap dancing and colourful costumes as Regent's Park Open Air hit Crazy For You arrived in the West End.

It tells the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930's playboy, whose dream in life is to dance and, despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancee, Bobby achieves his dream! It's a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity and plot twists alongside the fabulous dance numbers and of course, classic Gershwin music. A thoroughly enjoyable night out you can tell that the actors are having just as much fun as the audience who showed their appreciation with much applause.

Last night, the WOS theatregoers were given an additional treat when interval rolled along and a short dance interlude was provided by Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alex Jones. Following the fantastic Act One Finale can't have been easy but she braved it none the less!

Following the performance we were joined by the principals of the cast in the Waldorf bar where they were happy to sign programmes, chat about the transfer and the experience of this show as a whole! Thanks to everyone that was able to join us for this and please do let us know your thoughts on the production.

We hope to see you soon!

Club Manager
