Inside The Cage - Five Stars And GrowingDate: 12 August 2010 In danger of getting big-headed? Yes. Especially when a theatre producer asks me if I will allow my play to be translated and put on in a North European country, whose name I shan't mention yet for obvious reasons. Not yet.
The Cage is tightening its grip on Edinburgh. Because this is the play where the audience are implicated. Directly involved. Emotionally committed with no way out but to take it on the chin. They are the other character in the room - as important if not more than the characters in the play. Because the play is about you - the audience. You are the thriller.
You will not find a more focused, electric atmosphere than at 3.50pm at The Queen Dome, Pleasance...
This is what the audience are saying.
Come and get it.
