Cast: Sweeney and Rixon in Oldham Coliseum's Two

By • Northwest

Star of musical theatre and former Brookside star, Claire Sweeney is performing alongside theatre actor, Matthew Rixon (son of Matthew Kelly) in Jim Cartwright's classic Two at the Oldham Coliseum, in October.

Set in a pub, Claire and Matthew will play 14 different characters under the direction of Joyce Branagh, sister to actor Kenneth Branagh, their roles vary from the typical hands-on ’money-in-till’ landlord and ’gossipy heart of the bar’ landlady to a little boy and an old woman.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the award-winning play initially written for fellow Brookside stars Sue Johnston and John McArdle.

Two runs at the Oldham Coliseum from 8 - 24 October.
