24:7 Festival: One Week to Go

This year’s 24:7 Theatre Festival is now one week away, with a huge variety of productions ready to showcase local talent.

At the launch last month, John Henshaw and former Corrie actress Suranne Jones, attended to hear 24:7’s David Slack preview this year’s line-up.

He said: “This year’s Festival looks set to be our greatest yet. We have assembled a brilliant collection of the UK’s finest new writers and the audience are in for a real treat.”

The six day event will feature 21 plays and the selection includes absurdist comedies, dramas, physical theatre, dark comedies, storytelling and a psychological thriller.

The venues include New Century House and Pure in the Printworks.

WOS Northwest’s Stephen Timms (pictured) is among many writers whose work is being performed at the festival. Stephen’s Temp/Casual runs from 20th to 26th July.
