JONATHAN ANSELL AND FRIENDS

Charismatic singer Jonathan Ansell, who shot to fame on The X Factor with pop opera group G4, is embarking on his first solo tour – Jonathan Ansell and Friends as he revisits his back catalogue – singing the songs of G4. Jonathan will be performing some of G4s greatest hits, along with some of pop and opera’s most popular songs and arias. Since G4 ended in 2007, Jonathan has had two number 1 albums and in 2010 took the lead in the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jim Steinman’s hit musical Whistle Down the Wind. Says Jonathan: “I love entertaining people, and touching them with what I’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with – my voice. I’ve always enjoyed that, since I was very young.”

Jonathan performs at the Opera House on Monday 13th June. 7.30pm with tickets priced £25.50-£31.50.
