Wanted! Robin Hood is Library’s Christmas Production

It may seem too early to start thinking about next Christmas but the Library Theatre in Manchester will bring the tale of Robin Hood and his Merry Men to the Lowry.

Wanted! Robin Hood brings the well-loved, legendary characters of Robin and his Merry Men to life in a  fun-filled adventure story with music. With brave heroes, daredevil kidnappings, a cruel Sheriff of Nottingham and a very feisty Marian, it is aimed at everyone aged six and above.

Wanted! Robin Hood is a brand new adaptation of the classic tale, written by Charles Way. Charles was last seen at the Library Theatre Company adapting Charles Dickens’ Hard Times , but he is best known for his imaginative and award-winning plays for families.

The writer has a long association with the Library Theatre Company, and directed his own adaptation of The Golden Goose for the Library at Christmas 2006. The Theatre company also welcome back director Amy Leach who worked on their critically acclaimed production of Arabian Nights.

Wanted! Robin Hood is at the Lowry from 29 November – 11 January.
