Something Sinister Cuts ties with Rope

The producers of new play Something Sinister (which was originally billed as loosely based on Patrick Hamilton’s Rope) have decided to overhaul the piece as a thriller, independent of the classic piece.

Cast member and director Craig Hepworth explains:

“As much as we love Hamilton’s original we feel that our original idea worked far better for the story we are trying to tell”

Something Sinister tells the story of two wealthy New Yorkers who decide to murder their best friend….why? Simply because they feel they can get away it and that because of the social stature they should be allowed operate to a law of their own.

Please note this production is not suitable for persons under 15 due to scenes of nudity and violence. Something Sinister is at Taurus from 27 April – 1 May.
