The line-up has been revealed for the 2015 cross-arts Fierce Festival, which runs in Birmingham from 7 to 11 October 2015.

This year marks the last festival for current artistic directors Laura McDermott and Harun Morrison, who've been at the helm since 2009.

McDermott said: "This year's Fierce Festival will have a celebratory feel to it. We are making our Festival Hub at BOM [Birmingham Open Media], a really exciting new space for art, science and technology near Birmingham New Street train station."

Among the artists taking part are Chris Goode, whose show Weaklings was inspired by the notorious blog of writer and artist Dennis Cooper; Ursula Martinez with her monologue Free Admission; and Season Butler with Happiness Forgets, inspired by the recent allegations against Bill Cosby.

There will also be a sleepover in the Digbeth art gallery (Sleep with a Curator) and the UK premiere of dance piece Supernatural, featuring Simone Aughterlony, Antonija Livingstone and Hahn Rowe.

McDermott added: "Across the city there will be dance on a car park roof, parties in warehouses and a chance to sing karaoke to a video made by a Turner Prize-winning artist. It will be mine and Harun's last Fierce so we'll be savouring every moment."
