Vote in WOS Poll: What are your favourite show tunes?

Date: 30 April 2012

Whatsonstage.com and Time Out London are on a mission to decide the best-ever show tunes and we need the help of the UK’s most avid and knowledgeable theatregoers to come up with the list. And yes, that means you!

Which are the tunes that are most likely to get you tapping your feet, snapping your fingers, humming under your breath or singing and clapping along at full volume? Are you a Broadway baby all the way? Get goosebumps over Rodgers and Hammerstein? All about Andrew Lloyd Webber? Swear by Sondheim forever? Disney or die? Or do you defy anyone to win over Wicked?

Send in as many suggestions as you like via the form below – you can enter one to ten suggestions or come back and add more as often as you like.

WIN!! WIN!! WIN!! Fill in your name and email address at the bottom of the form, and you will also be entered into a ten-prize draw, comprising FIVE annual Whatsonstage.com Theatre Club memberships (retail value £40) and FIVE copies of Time Out’s London Top 100 pocket guide book on the city’s very best things to see and do.

This survey closes at 12.01am on Monday 28 May 2012. The long list will then be reviewed by Time Out and Whatsonstage.com editors and Time Out will curate a shortlist for further voting – and listening. And perhaps we can lure some of your favourite West End stars to sing your favourite show tunes as well? Watch this space for more event news!

** LIVE TWEETING!! Help us get everybody on Twitter talking about the wonderful world of musical theatre by using the #showtunes hashtag!! But be sure to come back and enter the form below for the official long list consideration and competition prizes!
