WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Broadcasts directly from the National Theatre, Royal Opera House and other famous theatres around the world onto a big screen. Most broadcasts are of live performances but "Encore" screenings of previous famous productions are also given.
A new production of Parsifal, Wagner's huge, profound meditation on guilt, death and possible redemption, is always a remarkable event, and this one is especially exciting - directed by Stephen Langridge, designed by Alison Chitty, conducted by Antonio Pappano, and featuring an extraordinary cast of Wagnerian singers around Heldentenor Simon O'Neill.
