On a slowly expanding stage, mysterious visions of amorphous objects, luminescent liquids and magnetic dogs emerge from the darkness, gradually revealing their mechanics. Tim Spooner's new installation / performance for young audiences and families will allow audiences to experience an intriguing spectacle and the inner workings of its delicately composed elements. Puppetry, magic and scientific-demonstration combine into a kind of performed sculpture.
Comedy Club 4 Kids is a real live comedy club with professional comedians performing without the swearing or rude bits. A different show every time for children 6 and above.
The story begins in a tiny village more or less covered in snow, where a Hanukkah Latke, a fried potato pancake, is born screaming. The Latke jumps from the boiling pan and races through the wintery village, deep in the throes of festive preparations. Lost amongst the snowy landscape and Christmas lights, will our Latke ever find where it belongs?
This adaptation of the absurdly funny Lemony Snicket story is vividly brought to life in Tall Stories' unique physical style, with live music, lots of laughs and a screaming potato pancake.
