Lesley Manville has hinted she may be in line to star in an upcoming musical adaptation of Mrs Henderson Presents.

Manville, speaking exclusively to WhatsOnStage in an interview due to be published tomorrow, told Michael Coveney: "I keep in touch with my friend, the composer George Fenton, who's mulling over Mrs Henderson Presents as a musical, so that's a possibility."

Mrs Henderson Presents features music by Fenton and lyrics by Don Black and, according to The Stage, will be directed by Terry Johnson and premiere at the Theatre Royal Bath next year, produced by Michael Harrison.
