Felicity Kendal and Simon Callow star in UK tour of French comedy Chin-Chin

Set in 1950s Paris, Chin-Chin centres on a couple brought together by the infidelity of their spouses.

The play, which premiered in 1959, proved a hit on Broadway and in the West End, where the original production starred Celia Johnson and Anthony Quayle. It has been translated into 19 languages.

Felicity Kendal is best known for her roles in much-loved television series The Good Life and Rosemary & Thyme, while West End theatre credits include Fallen Angels, Amy’s View, The Vortex, An Absolute Turkey and Relatively Speaking.

Simon Callow has appeared extensively with the RSC, National Theatre, and the Royal Court and in the West End. His one-man plays include The Importance of Being Oscar, The Mystery of Charles Dickens, Being Shakespeare and Dr Marigold and Mr Chops. His film credits include Four Weddings and a Funeral, Shakespeare in Love, The Phantom of the Opera and Amadeus.

Adapted by Willis Hall, directed by Michael Rudman and produced by Bill Kenwright, Chin-Chin opens at the Theatre Royal, Windsor from 14 to 26 October 2013 before visiting Nottingham, Bath, Malvern, Cheltenham, Cardiff and Truro.
