With their reputation as “a tour de force on the fringe” Remotegoat, Fourth Monkey return to the Edinburgh Festival off the back of their 2010 sell-out run of A Clockwork Orange.
The ensemble Company of 50 actors bring their brand of “bold, challenging work” to the 2012 Fringe in the form of 6 new pieces playing in rep. The season, which runs from 3rd-25th August at theSpaceUK on Niddry Street, includes a new adaptation of Angela Carter’s Nights at the Circus and OffWestEnd award nominated 4.48 Psychosis, Sarah Kane’s contemporary classic.

Minotaur
Daedalus, sculptor and virtuoso, arrives in King Minos' Kingdom under the shadow of darkness. Under the command of the god Poseidon, the Queen mates with a bull and gives birth to a beast. The Minotaur. King Minos insists the sculptor Daedalus build a great Labyrinth to conceal the animal. All must avoid Minos' rage at his wife's infidelity with the bull. If only Daedalus and his son Icarus had wings to fly this oppressive land…
